If you’ve arrived at this blog post, chances are you’re seeking some help with writing a real estate agent bio or are looking for a sample bio for new real estate agents.
If you’ve been in real estate for any length of time, you already know the value of a well-written bio as a great marketing tool. Simply put, a well-written professional bio will tell potential clients what you’ve been up to in your business, the amount of real estate you’ve sold, how you’re able to help your clients buy and sell property, and any exciting community involvements you’ve been a part of. This would all culminate in why you should be their number one choice for their next real estate venture.
This is all fine and dandy if you are a seasoned real estate professional. But what if you’re brand new to the game? What does a brand new real estate agent put in their bio? We’re here to help!
Interested in seeing a sample bio for new real estate agents? Here are some excerpts from a few real estate bios and explanations of why these work well for the industry.
Steve’s Bio
Steve has a natural propensity for customer service and intuitively knows what type of property his client is looking for, even if they haven’t eloquently described it. Steve’s ability to observe what the client’s needs are and listening to their wants has made him an instant success and a client favorite.
Steve was born into an entrepreneurial family, so customer service and people skills are in his DNA. His love for real estate came from buying investment properties. He realized that he couldn’t change the world for everybody, but the right property can change somebody’s world and that’s a great start.
In this excerpt, we highlight Steve’s qualities that make him an asset in this industry. We also discuss a bit about his personal background with his family, which ties into his philosophy and optimism.
In these next excerpts, you’ll notice the format is in first-person narrative. This format works well on social media platforms such as LinkedIn or a real estate agent’s personal website.
Max’s Bio
I believe that your home is your sanctuary, and should be treated as such. Whether you’re buying your first home or seeking that dream retirement residence, the experience should be nothing less than seamless. As a family man and homeowner myself, I understand that your home is more than just a place to live — it’s where you make long-lasting memories.
I help my clients navigate the often challenging waters of the home buying and selling process, with the end result only being a wonderful experience. When I’m not busy helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife Monica, our daughter Jenny, and our dog Lola.
Michelle’s Bio
I take the method approach to really empathize with my clients. I am no stranger to moving. You see, my family and I have moved from Portland to Atlanta, then to Tampa, back to Dallas, then to Indianapolis in a relatively short period of time — all the while increasing the size of our family!
You’re probably wondering why all the moves — well, here is where it all comes together. My husband is a news anchor at KOIN-TV, the CBS affiliate here in Portland. As the wife of a journalist, you tend to relocate quite a bit in the beginning. Who knew my journalism major would come in handy in my personal life! I knew all the challenges of a journalist, and I feel very strongly about keeping the family unit settled and together.
In both Max and Michelle’s bios, they empathize with potential clients and bring up a personal detail that makes them great to work with. At the same time, they also show they are professional.
This is very important because in empathizing, you must remain professional; otherwise, you lose credibility. These are facts that they both bring up and are true to their individual story.Â
